It has the crimped top cover unlike the smooth cover replacement style. The A/C delco number is if you got one in an old stock gm box it was a ranco. It is my understanding ranco was the oem vendor to gm for this part.

The following is what my research leads me to believe is accurate. I am not a gm expert. USA is also stamped on the crimped cover. Offer 96 an identical ranco valve in the gm box just sold for offered is a new old stock ranco model h25 heater valve.

The gm number is this is one of those rare instances where a part in an aftermarket box is actually more correct than the made in Mexico gm parts that replaced it. Primary application is air conditioned Chevy corvette, Chevalier, Camry, impala, Truck and Pontiac.
