I'm not sure exactly how these work, but the string pulls both work, And when pulled the parts move in it. I have offered different shipping options, so view each one to pick the best option for you.

He also coated the one end of the mounting rod with some kind of protective black coating I suppose to deter rust I see no rust, or corrosion if you bid prior to contact with me, this option is no longer available found in grandpas attic, he was a very meticulous guy, so very well may have cleaned it spotless after use.
